Darwen’s glittering Christmas Lights will be switched on by X Factor’s Max Stone this Saturday.
Max, who made it to the final 10 acts on the X Factor, and is replacing Union J in the Darwen event, will be giving a live performance for the crowd.
He will treat the crowd to some of his best songs from the show before switching the Christmas lights on this Saturday.
In addition also, Josh Daniels also from this year’s X Factor will also be performing on the night.
The Darwen lights switch on take place on Saturday, November 21 in the town centre square. The show will begin at 4pm with the lights being switched on at 7pm.

I am a big X Factor fan and I am thrilled to welcome both Max Stone and Josh Daniels to Darwen. Max is a fantastic performer and Josh really captured the nation’s hearts with his audition song. I hope everyone will give them a really warm welcome. The Darwen Christmas Lights switch on is a great event and it is always a great start to the festive season for people.”
