Blackburn with Darwen Libraries will be running a variety of workshops that provide opportunities to learn more about being online as part of Get Online Week, which runs from Monday, October 14 until Sunday, October 20.
The sessions include managing health through apps, using Ancestry to discover your past, and basic IT courses which can help daily life.
In the UK there are 5.3 million people that have never been online and 11.9 million people who don’t have the essential digital skills to navigate life and work.
Becoming more digital is one of the Councils’ key priorities as we drive forward with our Digital Strategy to tackle digital exclusion in the borough.
Please note that some events may need to be booked in advance. Visit Blackburn Library or Darwen Library to find out more.
