Now that the children and grandchildren have gone back to school and the weather outside is turning damp and cold, why not pop down to your local library to enjoy some ‘me time’ and perhaps try something new? A series of free craft activity sessions are being run by Action Factory Community Arts during ‘Libraries Week’.
Sessions will run at different venues throughout the week, and you can get expert tuition in the art of print making or bunting making with the friendly staff and volunteers from Action Factory.
Please collect a free ticket from the relevant library to reserve your place on the session(s) of your choice. The timetable for the week is set out below:
Monday 9th October 2017
Print making at Blackburn Central Library, 2pm-4pm
Wednesday 11th October 2017
Print making at Mill Hill Library, 10am-12 noon
Bunting making at Livesey Library, 2pm-4pm
Thursday 12th October 2017
Bunting making at Roman Road Library, 10am-12 noon
Print making at Darwen Library, 2pm-4pm
