England and Liverpool legend, John Barnes, is coming to Blackburn this Friday (26 April) to launch East Z East’s new menu and may even give a rendition of his famous rap!
The restaurant, which opened in King George’s Hall last year after a £350,000 investment, is launching its new Punjabi-based menu.
The special event will feature a live DJ and entertainment.
John has said he may also give a performance of his rap from ‘World in Motion’, which has become his signature since the iconic New Order song soundtracked England’s heroic performance in World Cup Italia ‘90.
There is also a special 20 per cent discount on food for anyone who books in advance.
Catherine Price, manager of Blackburn BID, said:
We’re thrilled that East Z East is at the heart of the town centre area and we can’t wait to sample their new menu. The investment in the town centre is part of a growing confidence in the town’s leisure offering and the exciting developments around King George’s Hall, as part of the Blakey Moor Townscape Heritage Project, are key to the success of the town’s growing evening economy.
