Have you ever found an interesting object while metal detecting, walking or digging in the garden? Do you think it might be an archaeological object over 300 years old and would like to find out more?
If so, why not bring your discovery to Blackburn Museum and Art Gallery where Portable Antiquities Finds Officer, Stuart Noon, will be on hand to identify and record your finds.
Finds day will be taking place on Wednesday, September 21 from 12 – 2pm and is free entry.
The Portable Antiquities Scheme (PAS) is a national programme co-ordinated by the British Museum. It assists with the identification and recording of archaeological finds discovered by members of the public.
