Two market events are taking place in Blackburn with Darwen, to showcase the range of Health and Adult Social Care services and community groups available and what they offer.
One of the events is being held at King Georges Hall on Tuesday October 7 between 11am and 6.30pm, whilst Darwen Academy (DACA) is hosting the second on Tuesday October 28, from 11am until 4.30pm.
A combination of care, health and community groups amongst others will be attending and will give citizens examples of services that they can purchase using their personal budget.
For all those attending, there will also be an opportunity to win £50 of Mall vouchers through a prize draw.
The events will bring together a mix of organisations such as Age UK, ATEL Assistive technology solutions, East Lancashire Deaf Society and Child Action Northwest and community organisations such as Snap Dragon(Therapy through drama) hobby groups and User groups .
