This weekend, Saturday November 29th, residents within Blackburn will be able to freely dispose of items of domestic bulky waste.
Fully staffed caged vehicles will be available for residents to dispose of bulky waste on Cedar Street from 10.45 am – 11.45 am.
This free collection service by the Borough Council across Blackburn with Darwen will run until early January 2015, with more locations to be announced over the coming weeks.
Examples of the types of rubbish that can be disposed are carpets, broken furniture and general bagged rubbish, whilst items such as plasterboard and asbestos roofing will not be accepted.
