Have you heard about Blackburn’s exciting new festive spot?

Escapades is an exciting collaboration between Blackburn native and expert in all things community and culture, Christine Cort, and celebrity chef, Paul Heathcote’s company, Escapade.

It’s based right in Blackburn town centre, at 35 Northgate, and it’s a must-visit venue for your Christmas night out.

The small yet perfectly formed menu is made up of the traditional flavours of Christmas, but with a modern edge… think mince pie crumble and stuffing balls with dipping gravy.

There’s four specialty cocktails to try too, each oozing with festive vibes and Christmas spice, along with a carefully selected range of ales from themuch-loved Thornbridge Brewery.

And with a packed line-up between now and Christmas Day, Escapades is guaranteed to deliver on vibes, flavours and festive spirit!

This new programme is all about bringing inclusive live music to Blackburn town centre’s coolest venues.

Blackburn Gigs is passionate about making music accessible for all, which is why there’s no charge to attend any of these fantastic performances.

Venues for December live music include Turtle Bay, The Dummer’s Arms, and The Firepit Tipi plus Escapades too.

Fancy some traditional folk music? Then check out Douglas and Moss at The Drummer’s Arms on 21st December.

Indie fan? You’re sure to enjoy Marc Rooney’s sets at The Firepit Tipi on 14th and 21st December.

Or is a violinist more your vibe? Don’t miss renowned violin artist Isabell Baker at Turtle Bay on 20th December.

The Firepit Tipi has live music every Friday and Saturday in December and brings you full-on Christmas party vibes in the evening.

You’ll find the tipi in Cathedral Square – just outside The Firepit Restaurant and Turtle Bay.

Handly, both are super close to the train station and bus station too.

Twinkling fairy lights, a roaring fire, a fully stocked bar and all the festive vibes you could wish for make this venue a must-visit in Blackburn this Christmas.
