Voters in Blackburn with Darwen have been urged to register in time for this year’s elections.
Residents will go to the polls on May 5 to cast their ballots to elect councillors for Blackburn with Darwen Council, Darwen Town Council and also the Lancashire Police And Crime Commissioner.
The deadline to register is Monday, April 18.
Polling cards were delivered to eligible residents towards the end of March.
Anyone who has not received one should get in touch with the Council to ensure they are registered.
Alternatively, use the online form at via the Government’s Gov.UK website www.gov.uk/register-to-vote
Harry Catherall, Returning Officer for Blackburn with Darwen and Police Area Returning Officer, said: “There are only a few days to go until the registration deadline but there is still time to make sure you can have your say.
“If you’re not registered by the deadline, you can’t vote. You’ll miss your chance to have say on how things are run.”
