When this giant wheel appeared in Darwen Market Square in February, it had us all in a spin!
But the town is no stranger to hosting ‘big’ things.
From the international DECADE adidas Spezial event that brought people from around the world to Darwen Live, the record crowds for the Christmas lights switch-on, and everything in between.
And there’s plenty of the ‘in between’ to enjoy all year round! The fabulous market, a wonderful selection of independent businesses, great places to eat and drink, popular events in the square, and the many activities hosted by Culturapedia – all free to enjoy.
Plus, there’s been the hugely popular community window art projects and window trails – with the Darwen Tower one, of course, being our favourite!
