Darwen Youth Centre 2024

Darwen Youth Centre will temporarily close its doors on March 31st for an impressive £3.3m transformation.

While the work is ongoing, there’ll still be lots for youngsters to get involved with across the town and beyond.

Here’s a quick guide to what’s on where:

Blackburn Rovers Community Trust

Join Blackburn Rovers Community Trust for their weekly ‘Kicks’ sessions.

Monday
Inclusion PL Kicks @ Blackburn Rovers Indoor Centre (BRIC) – 5pm – 6pm – for all aged 8-16 with a special educational need or disability (SEND)

Thursday

PL Kicks @ DACA – 5pm – 6pm – ages 13-19 yrs
Senior Youth Club @ Ewood Park (Strikers’ Lounge, Blackburn End) – 5pm – 7pm – ages 13-19 yrs

Friday
Girls’ PL Kicks @ Blackburn Rovers Indoor Centre (BRIC) – 4pm – 5pm – for all girls aged 8-19 yrs

Saturday
PL Kicks @ Blackburn Rovers Indoor Centre (BRIC) – 5pm – 6pm– ages 8-19 yrs

Darwen Youth Zone

Due to just how popular it is, Darwen Youth Zone has just moved to a new base at Over Darwen House at 22-26 Railway Road.

Youth – 6pm – 9pm – ages 13 – 19yrs       

Tuesday        

Youth  6pm – 9pm – ages 13 – 19yrs

Wednesday  

Junior  3:30pm – 8pm – ages 8 – 12yrs

Thursday       

Youth  6pm – 9pm – ages 13 – 19yrs

Friday            

Juniors 3:30pm – 8pm – ages 13 – 19yrs

Saturday

Juniors 1pm – 4pm – ages 13 – 19yrs

Rainbow Zone

Specialist LGBTQI+ youth sessions offering support, advice, general informal education and fun activities.

Based at Darwen Youth Zone, Over Darwen House, 22-26 Railway Road, Darwen, BB3 2RE

Kids Next Door

Kids Next Door will run from its new location on the Kaleidoscope Youth Centre at the usual time of 7pm – 9pm.
