A new website has been launched to help keep residents affected by the sinkhole in Darwen up to date.
Tilia Homes, the developer behind the Taylor’s Green site, has created the dedicated page to share the latest information.

Investigations into the cause of the sinkhole are ongoing. The area has been secured, and a number of residents have been evacuated. The Council is continuing to support these families.
The Mining Remediation Authority has started to temporarily fill the hole. Once those works are complete, a clearer exclusion zone will be established.
For safety, a short stretch of Pole Lane – from Priory Drive to Spring Meadow – will remain closed until these works are completed.
