A market event is taking place in Darwen this month, following a similar event which took place at King Georges Hall, Blackburn.
Taking place at Darwen Academy (DACA) on Tuesday October 28, between 11am and 4.30pm.
A combination of care, health and community groups amongst others will be attending and will give citizens examples of services that they can purchase using their personal budget.
For all those attending, there will also be an opportunity to win £50 of Mall vouchers through a prize draw.
The events will bring together a mix of organisations such as Age UK, ATEL Assistive technology solutions, East Lancashire Deaf Society and Child Action Northwest and community organisations such as Snap Dragon (Therapy through drama) hobby groups and User groups .
