Strange things are happening this half-term on Blackburn Market, as the Cabinet of Curiosities arrives.

Artist Collective “Eye of Newt” will bring their magical story-telling contraption to the market starting this Saturday 23rd October 2021.

If you think it is just a cabinet piled high with washing, then you are in for a surprise. The cabinet has other ideas! It will reward the curious and definitely wants to play. As the story begins to unfold, secrets are revealed and audiences will help to solve the Cabinet’s puzzles.

It’s a fun, free theatre experience for the whole family.

Watch as the Cabinet transforms during the show, beginning as mundane and domestic but slowly revealing itself as a magical vessel for imaginative play.

Performances, which do not require booking, will take place on Saturday at 11am, 1pm and 3pm. More performance times will be added for half-term and details can be found on Blackburn Market’s website blackburnmarket.com
