After a period of closure during the pandemic, Turtle Bay Blackburn has now opened its doors and is ready to welcome guests back.

Cathedral Square was buzzing last night following the reopening of well-known Caribbean chain restaurant Turtle Bay.

This follows on from the recent opening of bar and grill restaurant The Firepit and reopening of Checks & Greys café at Blackburn Cathedral.

Turtle Bay Blackburn is offering new dishes, cocktails and a return of the bottomless brunch as the restaurant promises to serve up Caribbean sunshine from breakfast through to the early hours.

Cllr Phil Riley, Executive Member for Growth and Regeneration, said:

Turtle Bay is a high-quality brand and fantastic addition to Cathedral Square, we’re really excited to see it open again – particularly after such a tough year and a half for the hospitality industry.

With The Firepit across the road, Reel Cinema around the corner and other pubs and bars nearby, this reopening is a brilliant addition to Blackburn Town Centre and a real boost to the towns evening offer and night-time economy.

We hope many residents head down and enjoy what’s on offer!
