Council praise for further jobs growth in the borough

News of 100 new jobs at Blackburn company Accrol Papers has been hailed by Councillor Phil Riley as a boost for the area.

The firm has started to recruit people and bosses said there could be more job openings in the future.

Councillor Phil Riley, Executive Member for Regeneration at Blackburn with Darwen Council said:

Encouraging employment and business growth within the borough are key priorities for the Council. It is fantastic that another local business is helping to give a further boost to the area I welcome this great news.”
