Council buildings closed to the public – but we are still here to help

Published Thursday 2 April 2020 at 17:01

The Council has taken the difficult decision to close all Council buildings to the public from Friday, April 3rd.

These are Blackburn Town Hall, Darwen Town Hall and 10 Duke Street. However, we are still here for you and still to help.

Protecting the health of all our residents and staff, especially those who are vulnerable, during the coronavirus outbreak is crucially important and this decision was taken to protect this.

We’re working tirelessly behind closed doors to make sure our essential services continue to run – with our priority being to support those who need us most.

We are keeping the situation under constant review and we are grateful to everyone for their patience and understanding

If the matter is urgent, please access the council website for the service you require at www.blackburn.gov.uk or call (01254) 585585.
