Over the summer holidays Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council’s Library and information services team are looking for record breaking readers as they encourage children to read six books between July and September.
Part of a national scheme delivered by The Reading Agency, young people aged four to 12 are being asked to pop into their local library and read six books of their choice over the school holidays.
If your child would like to take part in this free scheme visit Blackburn Central Library, Mill Hill Library, Livesey Library, Darwen Library or Roman Road library to enrol.
