Applications are open for those seeking financial support as part of a Government scheme announced last week.
Employed and self-employed residents on low incomes in Blackburn with Darwen who are self-isolating because of coronavirus may be able to claim up to £182.
Blackburn with Darwen has been chosen as a pilot area for the new scheme.
A strict list of eligibility criteria is in place. Find out if you are entitled to apply here by clicking on the ‘financial support for those self-isolating’ tab.
If you are, click on the ‘apply for financial support’ button at the bottom of the page to progress your application.
Applicants will be asked to provide proof of employment, notification from NHS Test and Trace and a bank statement.
Payments will be provided within 48 hours of the eligible individual providing the necessary evidence.
