Councillor Dave Harling, Executive Member for Schools and Education, has sent his congratulations to all those who have received their GCSE results this week.
Results for the borough is around 4 per cent up on last year, with 58% of students achieving 5 A*-C including English and Maths.
Councillor Harling said said: “I am delighted that once again our students have achieved the best results to date. I would like to thank all the schools, teachers, parents and pupils for all their hard work. They should be very proud of their achievements and I wish them all the success for the future.”
