Dozens of residents joined with the friends of French Road community group to remember the sacrifices their community made 100 years ago.
On Sunday the community group, which had received World War One Your Call grant funding, invited residents to join with them to walk the roads of French road and Wensley Fold conveying a message of remembrance as they went along.
