Transport for the North is launching its plans for £70 billion investment in the north.

The investment in transport across the area aims to unlock economic growth across the north including Blackburn and Darwen.

You can have a chance to see what this means for the borough at a special event on Wednesday 6 March in the Council Chamber at Blackburn Town Hall.

The event starts at 4pm and runs until 6pm with refreshments available from 3.30pm.

A welcome speech will be given by Councillor Phil Riley, Executive Member for Regeneration and Growth to open the session, followed by a presentation by Transport for the North. There will then be a question and answer session.

People attending will need to register before the session.
