The best of Blackburn and Darwen was on show during the annual Mayor’s Civic Tour
Mayor of Blackburn Councillor Pat McFall and Mayoress Lucie Higham took mayors and mayoresses from Lancashire to see some of the borough’s highlights..
The tour started at Blackburn Cathedral’s historic crypt for breakfast. They then took in a tour of the cathedral before heading on to the famous Crown Paints in Darwen.
After a lunch at Scholars Restaurant at Blackburn College, the VIPs went on a tour of BBC Radio Lancashire and then Blackburn Museum, finishing off with afternoon tea at The Mayor’s Parlour at Blackburn Town Hall.
