Have you ever found an interesting object and think it could an archaeological gem?
Blackburn Museum and Art Gallery is inviting all amateur archaeologists to bring their finds along on Wednesday, September 21.
Portable Antiquities Finds Officer, Stuart Noon, from the Portable Antiquities Scheme (PAS) will be on hand to identify your finds and record those over 300 years old.
The Portable Antiquities Scheme (PAS) is a national programme co-ordinated by the British Museum that assists with the identification and recording of archaeological finds discovered by members of the public.
The free event runs from midday until 2pm, no booking necessary.
