We’re just one day away from the official launch of the prestigious CP Company CINQUANTA exhibition in Darwen – the only one of its kind to take place outside of a major city.

With a plethora of visitors expected to descend on the town, the team are pulling out all the stops to make this FREE exhibition one not to be missed.

The man behind the event Darwen-based adidas designer Gary Aspden has been on site to make sure it’s in top shape.

Opening hours of the CINQUANTA exhibition are 12am-8pm.

As part of the retrospective exhibition, the C.P. team are also holding two unique discussions at Darwen Library Theatre with leading figures from industry.

C.P Company: In Conversation, Friday, October 1, 2021. 7pm arrival.

To coincide with the opening of C.P. Company’s retrospective exhibition in Darwen as part of the British Textile Biennial 2021, a special In Conversation event will look back on the brand’s 50-years of innovation and its unique relationship with the North of England.

– Aitor Throup, multidisciplinary artist, designer, and creative director
– Gary Aspden, brand consultant and chief curator of the adidas’ Spezial line.

C.P. Company: In Conversation – How to break into menswear. Wednesday, 6 October, 5.30pm arrival.

The Westminster Menswear Archive hosts a special In Conversation event. Massimo Osti, the founder and creator of C.P. Company, famously came to fashion as a graphic designer rather than a stilista (fashion designer), a term he did not like.

In this panel discussion, three creative individuals share their unique journeys into the world of menswear and the creative industries in this panel conversation.
