Bonfire Night 2021: Remember, remember it’s on the sixth of November!

There will be sparks in the park again this year as Blackburn’s Charity Bonfire at Witton  returns – with organisers offering half price family tickets until the end of September.

This year’s event is being held on Saturday, November 6  after being cancelled last year due to Covid-19.

The event, which is organised by Blackburn Round Table, Blackburn Lions and Blackburn Rotary, will see thousands flock to Witton Country Park for a bonfire and fireworks display.

There will also be live music from a band called Drive from Clitheroe, a fairground and food stalls selling hots dogs, burgers, toffee apples and more.

Mr Barratt is also seeking donations for pallet type wood and asks that anyone who is able to help to contact the Blackburn charity bonfire page on Facebook.

The event opens at 5pm, with the bonfire to be lit at 7.30pm and tickets can be bought online at https://www.ticketebo.co.uk/blackburn-charity-bonfire/blackburn-charity-bonfire-event.html

There is a special 50 per cent off family ticket available for two adults and four children priced at £5 which is available to buy until Thursday, September 30.

Specsavers Blackburn will be giving out free Hi – Vis vests to children on the night to help keep them safe.

So please share on your social networks and with your friends and family.
