The borough is supporting Commemorations to mark the fourth anniversary of the Manchester Arena attack.

Blackburn Town Hall and the borough’s King George’s Hall are being lit up orange tonight to remember all those who sadly lost their lives. Tributes are also being displayed on the town’s digital screens.

Twenty-two people were tragically killed in a suicide bombing following an Ariana Grande concert on 22 May 2017.

Cllr Mohammed Khan, Leader of the Council, CBE, said: “Four years on, our thoughts and our hearts go out to all the innocent victims and their families who so tragically lost their lives at the Manchester Arena attack. Our borough stands with you. We will forever remember them.”
