Blackburn Museum & Art Gallery is excited to announce its annual Art Open exhibition for 2025.
The Art Open exhibition invites local artists to showcase their work in one of the first purpose built free museums to open outside of London, established in 1874.
Following its 150th anniversary on 11 June, 2024, the upcoming exhibition promises to be an exciting and diverse show. Whether you’re an amateur or a professional artist, this is your chance to get involved!
The exhibition will be held from Saturday 18 January – Saturday 15 March 2025.
Anthea Purkis, Curator of Art at Blackburn Museum and Art Gallery said:
