A group of apprentices in the borough have entered a competition to have their idea for a mobile phone app created.
Called ‘Licence to Learn’, the revision app would allow access to online learning materials that are specific to the relevant training courses.
The winner will receive £20k towards creating the app, which will go to training providers, and hopefully create a new approach to learning for apprentices, with incentives such as prizes and a leaderboard.
Voting closes at the end of Monday, June 1st .
