Schools are getting ready to break up for the summer – so get ready to set ‘Off for Fun’.
Blackburn with Darwen Council’s summer programme of activities for children and young people to enjoy is now available.
It is filled with lots of fun and exciting activities for children and young people aged 5 to 19 years throughout the summer holidays including residential trips, watersports, fun days and centre based activities.
Activities include magic shows, animal events, arts and crafts, swimming and water fun sessions, cycling, youth clubs, park events, fun days and much more.
The colourful brochure is filled with fun activities for all children and young people to enjoy. It is available from all leisure and community centres, libraries and both town halls.
Executive Member of Leisure and Culture, Councillor Damian Talbot said:
There really is something for everyone in the borough this summer and I hope our young people will enjoy themselves at these activities during the summer. I hope everyone will come and join in the fun and have a great summer.”
