Blackburn Youth Zone is launching a brand new low cost childcare service for eight to 13 year olds.
The sessions are run by experienced youth workers and are running now.
The club is designed to help parents balance work and family commitments while providing children with a large choice of activities to get involved in, including games, sports, arts and more.
After School Club is open to eight to 13 year olds every weekday during term time from 3:30pm until 6pm, and costs just 50p per day.
Blackburn Youth Zone will work closely with participating schools in the area to offer pupils escorted walking buses for free, along with pickups in Blackburn Youth Zone’s minibus for just an extra 50p, to make sure children can get to the club safely and easily.
On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, members can stay for Junior Club until 8:30pm for no extra cost.
Junior Club activities include climbing, futsal, dance, gym, and more, plus frequent special workshops including parkour, drumming, photography, and all kinds of other events.
