Blackburn’s Holy Trinity Church will host a two-day music and arts event as the Confessional returns for its 10th anniversary this September.
They’ve played crypts, cotton mills, and cathedral basements — but the Confessional festival’s spiritual home remains the splendid Holy Trinity church , where guitars meet grandeur and the next big thing still plays inches from your face.
The two-day festival takes place on Fri 12th Sep and 13th Sep and tickets cost just £20.
Councillor Phil Riley, Leader of Blackburn with Darwen Council, said:
I’m so keen to support the brilliant events that are happening in Blackburn with Darwen and I’ve been supporting the Confessional for ten years now. Not only does it bring great music to the borough, but they also host them in great local venues.
Organiser Pete Eastwood said:
I’m so passionate about there being things to do in Blackburn and want to keep the music scene alive and returning. The Confessional festival is now in its tenth year. The theme is ‘In the town where I was born’ and I want people to recognise just how great our town is and what we can do when we want good things for it. The event is organised by people who just want to see the town thrive. The Confessional is part of that pride.
The grassroots music and arts festival will feature acts including: Secret Night Gang, The Untold Orchestra, Disgusting Sisters and more!
