Here’s our list of events in & around Blackburn & Darwen from Monday,30th May to Sunday, 5th June 2016

Blackburn with Darwen Walking & Cycling Festival starts on 4th June & runs until 18th June, with walks, rambles & cycle rides to suite everyone. Contact Blackburn Visitor Centre for a full programme.

Blackburn Town Centre:

  • Until 11th June: A Retrospective, Art Exhibition by Stephen Pickles, Blackburn Museum & Art Gallery, Wed –Saturday 12 – 4pm
  • Until 17th June: Local Places & Famous Faces, Art Exhibition by Adrian White, Blackburn Museum & Art Gallery, Wed –Saturday 12 – 4pm
  • until 31st Aug: The first four Complete Works of William Shakespeare on display, Blackburn Museum & Art Gallery, Wednesday – Saturday 12 -4.45pm

Darwen Town Centre:

  • Until 5th June: Exhibition of Arts & Crafty by Judith Herring & Sue Gardiner, Sunnyhurst Wood Visitor Centre, Thurs – Sundays 1pm – 4.30pm
  • 29th – 30th May:  Darwen Live 2016, Stages at Darwen Market Square & Darwen Library Theatre, groups will also be performing at other venues around the town centre.
  • 1st June: Don Banks Afternoon Variety Show, Darwen Library Theatre 2pm
  • 1st June: Battle of Jutland, Illustrated talk by Steve Irwin, Darwen Library, 6pm
  • 2nd June: The 3 Billy Pigs, Darwen Library Theatre 2pm
  • 3rd June: Roy Chubby Brown, Darwen Library Theatre (Sold Out)
  • 4th June: Comedy Club at Darwen Library Theatre, 8pm
