A Facebook Live video has highlighted the impact of a charity clothing collection for children that is being supported by our fostering team – letsfoster.

Donations have been coming in fast and are really making a difference to children and families in need both locally and internationally.

The impact the donations are having can be seen in the Facebook live video below.

The appeal to collect clothing for orphan children in Uganda has been spearheaded by Blackburn school QEGS is being supported by local radio 2BR.

Letsfoster have also been supporting the appeal to help children locally and abroad whilst also helping to raise awareness and spread the message that we need more people to consider fostering children from Blackburn and Darwen.

You can bring donations of clothes to collection points at Blackburn and Darwen Town Halls and Duke Street. The donations will be sent out later this month.
