Together Lancashire wants to put you on the map

Together Lancashire is urging anyone organising social action activities in Blackburn with Darwen to get in touch.

Together Lancashire works to bring those of faith together with community organisations to address social issues.

The organisation wants to hear from faith-based charities, places of worship or volunteer groups about their social action events in order to compile a borough wide map of activity.

It is hoped that the map will help raise awareness and boost participation.

Social actions could include activities such as Befriending, Debt advice and support, Fitness activity, Foodbanks and Job Clubs.

Other examples are Mentoring roles, Playgroups, Meal services and Training and education.

To sign up for the map attend the drop in at St Aidan’s Church in Mill Hill on Monday, August 22 from 12.30-2 pm.

Refreshments will be provided and there will be a chance to find out more about the map.

Anyone not able to attend the drop-in but wants to take part can fill in the questionnaire http://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/bwdfaithreview2016
