The Search is on for a Special Couple to Renew their Vows

One lucky couple have a unique opportunity to renew their wedding vows in a free ceremony at Blackburn’s new Northgate Ceremonies Suite situated at King George’s Hall in Blackburn.

To celebrate the launch of four new ceremony rooms at the venue, Blackburn’s Register Office are searching for a couple to cut the ribbon and officially open the venue on Saturday, 27th August. The winning couple will be treated as VIP guests on the day and they will receive a free renewal ceremony to take place in the Northgate Suite Monday to Friday.

So if you know a couple who are about to celebrate a special anniversary or a special pair who have gone through a difficult time and deserve a treat, this is your chance to nominate friends or even nominate yourselves to be in with a chance of winning the VIP experience.

The new Ceremonies Suite offer 4 stunning rooms that can seat up to 100 guests and offers a wide selection of ceremonies including weddings, civil partnerships, naming ceremonies and the renewal of vows.

The free open day, which allows visitors to explore the facility with a glass of bubbly, runs from 11am – 2pm, on Saturday, 27th August and everybody is welcome to view the rooms and meet the team to discuss ceremonies for you and your family. There will also be a free prize draw on the day for visitors to win a ceremony of their choosing. The prize draw winner will also receive a bouquet of flowers from well know local florist Le Rain Florist on Blackburn Market to help give their celebration some extra glamour.

The competition closes at midnight on Sunday, 21st August 2016. Entries should include a name, age and short summary detailing why they should win in no more than 100 words to and should be sent to nominations@blackburnlife.com
