Following the Government’s clarification yesterday that it is not imposing local restrictions on Blackburn with Darwen – and this statement in response – Council leaders have today provided a further update with the latest advice and guidance on Covid-19.

Following the national coverage of recently revised guidance we have met with national officials and confirmed there are no restrictions on travel in or out of Blackburn with Darwen: There are no local lockdowns.
