New Service from Blackburn, Accrington & Burnley to Manchester Victoria via the restored Todmorden Curve.

There isn’t long to wait for the start of the brand new service from Blackburn, Accrington & Burnley to Manchester Victoria via the restored Todmorden Curve.

The timetable sees an hourly service departing Blackburn as below:

Mon – Fri 06:15, 07:19, 08:20, 09:19, 10:20 then hourly until 20:20, 21:36 & 22:36

Sat          07:19, 08:20, 09:20, 10:20, 11:19, 12:20 then hourly until 20:20, 21:37 & 22:35

Sun         08:18 then hourly until 20:18, 21:28 & 22:08

The timetable from Manchester Victoria is:

Mon – Fri 05:50, 06:56, 07:56, 08:55, 09:56 then hourly until 15:56, 16:54, 17:54, 18:56, 19:56, 21:01 & 22:50

Sat          06:56, 07:56, 08:53, 09:56 then hourly until 15:56, 16:54, 17:54, 18:56, 19:56, 21:01, 22:01 & 23:01

Sun         08:40 then hourly until 20:40 & 21:50

The trains will call at Accrington, Rose Grove, Burnley Manchester Road, Todmorden, Walsden, Littleborough, Smithy Bridge, Rochdale, Castleton, Mills Hill, Moston and Manchester Victoria. Most trains continue to Salford Central and Salford Crescent.

Due to the work taking place to widen Farnworth Tunnel for the NW Electrification Project, most trains on Saturdays and Sundays (until 4th October 2015) will start and terminate at Clitheroe. Download the amended Farnworth Tunnel timetable by clicking here.
