This February half term Blackburn and Darwen Library will be hosing fun and exciting workshops to keep your young ones entertained.

Lego robotics workshop

In this workshop children will be able to learn a new and exciting skill by using computer code to programme Lego models.
Taking place on Monday, February 15, 10am – 12pm and Darwen Library 2 – 4pm.
The sessions are designed for children age 7-9 years.
Tickets – 50p
Accompanying adults go free.


Elmer family craft session

This craft session will be based on the lovable Elmer the Elephant, involving colourful collages and colouring.
Taking place on Tuesday, February 16, 10.30 – 11.30am at Blackburn Library and Friday, February 19, 10.30 – 11.30am at Darwen Library.
Free tickets are available from the libraries.
Accompanying adults do not require a ticket.


Barclay’s Code Playground

Have your children learn and experience the art of learning to animate characters with computer code.
Children are being asked to provide their own tablet, or a device for accessing WiFi is possible.
This will take place at Darwen Library on Wednesday, February 17, 10.30am – 12pm.
Places are limited so please book in advanced.
