Help for residents dealing with exam results stress

Receiving disappointing exam results can be a really difficult time for students and their families, especially when plans for the future such as university or college can feel as if they have been scuppered overnight.

Blackburn with Darwen residents can talk to the Samaritans in confidence if their A-level and GCSE exam results are getting to them.

Judith, the Director of the Blackburn, Hyndburn & Ribble Valley branch, said:

Samaritans is free to call on 116 123 – any time from any phone – and our volunteers are here to support anyone who is struggling.

We keep conversations private and we won’t judge.

As well as calling the free number 116 123, you can send an email to jo@samaritans.org or come to the local Samaritans branch at 105 New Park Street, Blackburn, BB2 1DF and talk to a volunteer face-to-face.
