The bus shelters across Blackburn with Darwen have been a big hit for raising awareness of events, campaigns and helping businesses thrive.

Since the Council took over the bus shelter sites it has helped a variety of local businesses, schools and even Blackburn College spread their messages.

There are over 50 bus stops on all the main routes and to advertise it’s £50 a week per stop with deals to be had the more bus shelters you use.

Thanks to a revamp of the system booking is now easier than ever and an interactive map is also available to help companies see where the shelters are and which ones are available.

King George’s Hall said “The site map is easy to use and enables you to plot coverage to your specific needs.  The staff are helpful at suggesting suitable alternatives if the sites are booked for the desired time frame and again, the map enables you to check the suitability of sites that you may not personally be aware of.”

The adverts reach thousands of people a day helping boost businesses and reach new clients.

Training 2000 said “The bus shelter advertising through Blackburn with Darwen Council has boosted our brand across the region.  This advertising is excellent for brand visibility and awareness.  Our vibrant adverts were clear to see and we received positive feedback from our customers following our campaign.”
