Domestic Waste Collection in Darwen

This weekend, Saturday March 28th, residents within Darwen will be able to freely dispose of items of domestic waste.

 Fully staffed caged vehicles will be available for residents to dispose of waste at the following times and locations

The Junction of Sandon Street and Industry Street : 9 am – 10 am.

The Junction of Anyon Street  and Olive Lane: 9:30am – 10: 30 am

The Junction of Greenway Street and Lloyd Street: 10:45 am – 11:45 am

The Junction of Greenway Street and Gillibrand Street: 11:15 am – 12:15 pm

Continuing from a scheme that began two years ago, this free waste disposal service has seen hundreds of tonnes of rubbish from across the Borough safely disposed over many weekends.

Due to health and safety considerations plasterboard and asbestos roofing will not be accepted.
